This week, we finish out Spencer month by going mostly insane. Also, we watched the 1969 movie directed by Oscar award winning director Peter Watkins, The Gladiators, aka Gladiatorerna. Peter Watkins has a style all his own, crafting docu-dramas that deliver a socially conscience message that strikes true even today. So naturally we talked about Goldfish brand crackers. We'd like to thank Spencer Seams for his contribution to this podcast. He has helped boost our profile and given us excellent movie to chew on, and we will never forgive him. You can follow his work on twitter at @Matt_Seams. EMail: pleasedontpodcast@gmail.com Facebook: facebook.com/pdsmios Notes will updated later on our Facebook page

This week... you know what? I am still recovering from watching this movie a week ago. Stalker from 1979, a movie about some guys who go to a place and lie down in some uncomfortable areas. Did this movie predict the coming Chernobyl Accident? Is the pursuit of God only for those strong enough to endure the mystery of existence? Do I know what I am talking about? All of these question, and more, are not answered in this episode!

Week 2 of Spencer month. We watched a crazy cool movie called The 10th Victim. Guns and bombs and crocodiles and strip teases and sax players and tea, delicious Ming Tea. It is a really good movie, and I hope you are encouraged to watch it.

This week, after months of begging, Spencer finally agreed to join us for a movie he picked called Silent Running from 1972. In it is a very helpful message about how blowing up your co-workers to save plants is a good idea! I think that's what this was about, I was busy listening to the Joan Baez tracks. It's 70s sci-fi, so you know its something special! Email: pleasedontpodcast@gmail.com Twitter: twitter.com/outerspacepod Facebook: facebook.com/pdsmios

Wild Zero. What. A. Movie. This week, our guest Kempo picked out one hell of a sweet rock and roll zombie movie. Apparently it is a cult classic, and if that really is the case, pass me the freakin' kool-aid because this movie was sweeeeeeet. This week, we had special guest David (the guy who composed and performed our theme music) pick out a movie for us. He selected Space Raiders from 1983, a cheap Roger Corman produced sci-fi movie, that has bits in common with Flight of the Navigator and Saving Private Ryan. That's right, I went there. This week, Jose joined us to discuss the movie Event Horizon. PETERS! Sorry for the jump scare folks, just making sure the edges of those seats are getting used. It was a damn fine time and some of us now have a new movie for our end of the world bunker collection! This week, we watched the fantastic science fiction movie, The World, the Flesh, and the Devil. Those late 50's early 60's sci-fi flicks sure were special, and this one is no exception. You should check it out if you are up for a beautifully shot, haunting tale. And hey! Who knew Harry Belafonte could act! This week, we coasted through our first animated movie, Ducktales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp. A lot of memories sprung up while watching this... mostly about how much we wanted our own giant sundae. Please join us in a proud WOO OO while we storm Duckberg and take back our number one dime! Warning to hardcore Ducktales fans: We are not 100% positive about this movie OR the franchise. We aren't saying its bad, we aren't saying you can't like it. We are just expressing our opinion, and you are more than welcome to disagree. This week, we watched the movie The Sword and the Sorcerer. And I cannot emphasize this enough, YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS MOVIE. Track it down and have a good time laughing and gawking at the swashbuckling awesomeness. We liked this movie. This week, the randomizer stumbled across a classic for our perusal. The Bishop's Wife from 1947, starring the timeless, the amazing, the most handsome of men, James Gleason as Sylvester the cab driver! Oh, and Cary Grant is in it too. It is a very good movie, centered around around Christmas time but great for any evening you are looking for something light, funny, and touching. Even Aaron liked! This week we watched Cutie Honey Live Action from 2004. It's about a magical super heroine who inexplicably ends up nude occasionally! Not in this movie, but this is what I am lead to believe happens otherwise.

This week Joel chose Krull as his pick, and then immediately starting complaining about it. So why Krull? I mean, it is a fantasy movie with a cyclops, sword fights, lasers, space beasts, magic, tigers, and Liam Neeson. It has something special that cannot be denied, despite being a pretty hardcore Star Wars rip. We hope you like this episode, because Joel never wants to watch the movie again, so there will be no retry. This week we tackled the film Her from 2013. Picked by our guest Mia, this film handles relationships in a way we can all relate to, remotely through a disembodied voice. We all loved this movie, and we think you will too. Twitter: @outerspacepod Email: pleasedontpodcast@gmail.com

The movie this week was Just Imagine from 1930. Have you ever wondered what the future will be like? Well, this movie dares to imagine the far flung year of 1980! Personal planes! Pill foods! Swedish immigrants! So bright, Aaron had to wear shades.

A week before David Bowie passed away, we began a super long episode on the movie Labyrinth, Sarah's pick. It was a strange coincidence, and we are happy to present a tribute to a movie we love, that just happens to star an amazing performer we will never forget. Please enjoy part 1. Part 2 will be posted on Wednesday. Email: pleasedontpodcast@gmail.com twitter: @outerspacepod

Hey, happy new year! We're back, and this week, Aaron and Joel did a short episode on the indie movie R.E.D.D. which was a fun romp all the way through. We recommend you check out! Zombies, robots, martial arts, big guns, space ships, killer computers, I could keep going for a loooong time. Check out the movie at www.reddmovie.com .
